I sent my dealer the e-mail today they love to get. I cancelled my 2021 turned 2022 order after 7 months with no build date. Given the number of people getting build dates or vehicles who ordered months after me I cancelled. Dealer probably doing happy dance since they can mark it up like crazy with ADM, special Zombie paint repellent, miracle seat protector etc. I decided to keep the 2021 cancelled order I found.

I have a premium on order. I have been looking for a premium or GT off the lot but can't find anything that isn't crazy marked up. I contacted a dealer last week and he offered me a premium at 10k over MSRP. Today he reached out again and knocked it down to 7.5k lol. Gee thanks.

No happy dance. If the car is not yet built, the dealer won't get it.

Tell him most others dealers you’ve talked to are offering $2500, but he’s closer. See if he’ll bite. Especially if you’re trading a car in or financing. Make sure to mention that if so!

Why on earth would you cancel your order, did you need the $500 deposit that much? Even if you don’t really want it you could flip it right away and probably make some money without taking the tax credit.

They were listed at $62k, or thereabouts. Maybe $64k, I can't recall. The blue one was gone yesterday.

Just trying to figure out whom you are sending a message to? Everyone has their own timeline and reasons for wanting a car sooner rather than later. I guess I am lucky since I’m in no rush and figure the more time goes by the more kinks get worked out.
