yeah i noticed the wiper activated headlamps too.
after some googling, it looks to comply with a possible ca law that will mandate the headlights come on when the car senses rain or the wipers go on to help reduce accidents in bad weather

"Puddle lights" from Ford have been around for a bit. I had them on my 2005 Freestyle SEL.
"Whisper mode". Reminds me of the old '80's program "AirWolf". The helicopter used have "Whisper Mode" when they was doing some stealth approach.
Talking of stealth. So much for scaring unsuspecting pedestrians in the parking lots. Shit.
Headlight activated wipers? Hmmm... I wonder if that is like our Canadian Day Time Running lights? On my Flex, my Fog Lights are my DRLs.
The more I read, the more I want this vehicle.
