Acronyms defined

Just jointed the site and noticed many of SOC, SOH, IMO, GOM's used in conversations. Looking for definitions & use.

Also, my 12V battery just died without any warning, other than totally locking me out! Never saw any warning thru the car or from the dealer maintenance. March 2021 premium with 47K miles. The battery placement is almost impossible to get to the + post without tearing up the frunk structure. Thanks to AAA driver who did it, so no tow needed. Did I miss something or the dealer?

Regarding the 12v, no you didn't miss anything. Ford just didn't make it easy to access it. You can easily drill holes to access the 12v for a jump. https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...point-access-battery-access.10976/post-281828

If you have a 2021 model and have never changed your 12v, you should do it ASAP. The 12v battery generally starts to fail aroumd the three year mark.
