I really wanted a cargo net like I had in my Nissan. So I ordered two rings from Ford, drilled the holes with a Dremel, and attached it with 1.5 inch washer behind it to secure it.

I like this. Which cargo net did you use? The Ford "Fusion and other Ford sedans" cargo net? Aftermarket cargo net? another car brand's cargo net?

Some Ford stylist’s version of upper hooks. I won’t attach anything to them because I am afraid of breaking the panels. I like the repurposing of the lower rear rings, but I still need a front ring. Any EU or CN market guys or gals out there that can get us a P/N? 🤷‍♂️🐩

In a separate thread on the same cargo front ring issue, one of the British MME owners replied that he verified his MME's two front rings are welded into the body steel panel behind the trim. Hence, no part # :-(

Looking through one of the Steve Munro videos, the one with the "body in white" walkaround, I think that I (we) can get a D ring or a U-shaped threaded hasp or some similar item mounted by drilling two holes in the steel body plate, threading four nuts (two on the cargo side, two on the wheel well side) on the U shaped hasp, backing the front and the back of the legs with connecting rectangular backing plates on either side of the plate under all four nuts, and then just cutting a slit in the felt of the trim panel. And... voila.

Maybe a job for next weekend... if it works out I'll post pix.

Huh, i thought for sure they just screwed it in. Bummer. I have seen rings in the past that have eyes on both ends for screws. I wasn’t interested in them t the time. Now I just have to find them. 🤪🐩

In case you'd like cargo rings in the front of your truck, see this thread. I've created a custom bracket that supports the rings in the front of the cargo area.

The brackets have arrived and have been installed. Everything works perfectly. Order taking is underway and ends on Monday 7/31.

Pricing
Since this is a limited production run, pricing is highly order volume dependent. As of now, it looks like pricing will be as follows:
Order VolumePrice*
15 - 19$90
20 - 24$80
25 - 29$70
30 - 34$65
35 - 39$60
40 - 54$55
55 - 74$50
75+$45
*All prices are before shipping costs

DM me if interested.

We're in the closing days of order taking. There have currently been orders placed for 22 bracket sets which means that with only three additional orders the price will drop from $90 per set (plus shipping) to $80 as we hit the next parts fabrication volume discount. Now's the time to get any last minute orders in - the order window closes on Monday 7/31.

I have sourced M8 square U bolts (as opposed to the original M6 versions). M8 are roughly four times as much metal as compared to M6 so they are substantially stronger. The OEM U bolts are ~M7 in size, so somewhere between the two. The M8 bolts will still fit just fine. I can see no downsizes other than that they're a bit more expensive.

Pricing - EDITED
Since this is a limited production run, pricing is highly order volume dependent. As of 7/29, it looks like pricing will be as below. (The $10 increase is due to finding the beefier U bolts.)
Order VolumePrice*
15 - 19$90 $100
20 - 24$80 $90
25 - 29$70 $80
30 - 34$65 $75
35 - 39$60 $70
40 - 54$55 $65
55 - 74$50 $60
75+$45 $55
*All prices are before shipping costs. (I plan to ship via a Priority Mail Small Flat Rate box and the cost should be $8.55.)
