Hey Ya’ll,
I’ve got sort of a weird situation that is making me consider adding some premium features to a CA Route 1. I’m considering upgrading the base sound system & adding the power lift gate.
I’ve seen links to the aftermarket power lift gate. It seems like a very reasonable solution. I’m curious how much it actually integrates with the car though. Does it link into a hidden exterior button (like the stock version), does it work with the regular key fob, can it be hooked into the door code & center console UI?
Are aftermarket sound system upgrades comparable to the B&O system? I am not an audiophile, but the B&O system sounds great to me. If I look into an aftermarket solution, will it be equally nice? Does it break any of the center console audio balance controls? Is there a recommended system to be using as an upgrade?
