I did this with my 2019 Edge. Does anyone know what As-Built number to change to increase my turn signal blink from 3 blinks (to short for my preference and driving style) to 5 or 6 blinks?

I've googled the web and searched this website but can't find the answer. I found 724-01-01 but I'm not sure that's correct. Some sites have stated starting with 2020 models, it isn't possible anymore. Others like the F150 forum showed it is now two characters in the hex value needing changed but the new value is dependent on which two default characters the vehicle has.

I just had a look at this with Forscan and the 724-01-01 setting mentioned elsewhere can't be right. Going to do some more poking around...

While we're discussing blinkers and Forscan, is there any setting to make them grow out (European style) instead of starting all all and shrinking in?

They seem backwards from what I'd want.

I have looked at this extensively and I can't figure it out. It does not coincide with the old SCCM programming Ford has used forever and it doesn't coincide with the new 2021 F150 programming. I've done a bunch of trial and error but never can get the # of blinks to change when using the lane change feature.

When I have a chance I'm going to grab UCDS from my employee's house and see if they have that listed in the direct config. I can figure it out that way then.

SCCM 724-01-01 could be worth another try as in other Fords this is the point for adjusting the Turn Signal....

SCCM
724-01-01 xxxx xXxx xx:

0 = Triple flash disabled
4 = Two flashes
6 = Default Triple flash operation
7 = Turn signal stays on until canceled
8 = Four flashes
A = Five flashes
C = Six flashes
E = Seven flashes

Tried this back in Feb 2021. No dice.

This isn't possible at the moment on the Maverick either, as far as anyone can tell. I did a lot of research and tried on mine, modifying the same numbers as the F150. The new Explorer also seems to be lacking this feature so maybe its something Ford is doing on their recent models.

Any luck with UCDS on this issue?

Honestly never plugged it in as it stays at my employees house as he needs it for various things related to my business. It takes some dedication with UCDS to figure it out but if it is possible it would be in there assuming the support is there.

Agree... tried to update my 2015 Ford Fusion Energi's modules with UCDS some years ago... bricked the car for days haha. Haven't touched UCDS since. Powerful tool.
