"Dubbed as the Aviar R67, this electrified Mustang harkens to those who aren't keen on the Mustang Mach-E electric crossover. The design calls back to the original two-seater Mustang concept from 1962 – clean lines, tri-bar taillights, and the wide stance that the pony car has been known for...

...An R67 prototype is already underway, touting 840 electrified horsepower (618 kilowatts) and a 0-62 miles per hour time of just 2.2 seconds."

Give me an EV 70s Dodge Charger please (but I'd take a 68 fastback!)

Fan of the front end, but not of that rear end. I am still partial to the '65 compared to the later 60s models.

I'm the exact opposite. I like the rear 3/4 view but not the front end.

Nah, no fake Mustang for me. And I imagine Ford might have something to say about appropriating their brand. Now, if you could put a 1960's Mustang convertible, and restore it on a skateboard platform, we might have something to talk about. This makes me think Chinese Rolex knockoff.

Hmm. Would I turn one down if given to me........................No Way. Imagine the looks you would get cruising around town in one of these.....much less the look on some young kids face when you leave him eating your dust. The 60's had such a run of beautiful cars. My baby was a 68 Olds Cutlass S. God I loved that car. Cherry Red with a white interior and white vinyl top. I lost my.....never mind. Lets just say my girlfriend and I went parking quite a bit in that car and leave it at that.......😋😋😋

Yeah, I should clarify this to say, I would LOVE if Ford did this with the older body styles. Some may find it sacrilegious - but I've always loved the idea of having the old style w/ electric power train

Yes, a 65 convertible on a skateboard platform would be perfect. I'd like the Ford GT racing stripes please.

I don't understand why this is being revived in Internet news? Looks like the same renderings from 2018 to me. The news is that maybe some of the carbon fiber body is in process?
