Advantages to ordering at dealer vs online?

There is no incentive by plan.

Right now there is a $100 rebate for everyone.

If you take the Ford Option plan, some states you get a $1,000 rebate, others you get a $2,500 rebate.

When you order, your dealer can lock in the rebates at time of order, then you get whichever is better (as a group) at time of delivery.

The "discount" is the X-Plan. Your employer should be able to give you info to log on and configure a Mach-E and see the X-Plan price. It's a formula, based on invoice price. Invoice - (0.4% of invoice) + $275, i.e. 99.6% of invoice plus $275. In addition, the dealer can only charge $100 for paperwork processing.
So for a 57k price tag the x-plan discount is ~2000? All for a 25 dollar club membership?

Not quite.

On a Premium, with an MSRP of $47,600, X-Plan would be $46,923 with the $100 incentive. Invoice is not far off MSRP on this model.
"Invoice" pricing isn't used when figuring the X-plan discount on a Mustang Mach-E.

First you need the manufacturer's "Total MSRP" from the window sticker. This figure includes the destination and delivery fee ($1,100), and any factory extras such as premium paint, extended range battery, and interior protection package.

To get the X-plan price, multiply the Total MSRP by 0.98, and then add $275 to the resulting figure. That's X-plan for this vehicle.

To this total, the dealer agreeing to sell the vehicle to you under X-plan is allowed to add up to a maximum of $100 for documentary fees. This is another benefit of X-plan pricing for qualified buyers.
