I bought the Select with no packages. I don't regret anything about it, but I really would like a cargo cover, any leads on something aftermarket? My Google-Fu has come up with nothing... Any help appreciated.

Does your vehicle have the plastic hooks in the trunk area needed to attach the cargo cover?

I think this might be the part that you're looking for. It's kinda pricey. :( And there's no image so I'm not sure on this... definitely double check with your local parts department.

Part #: 58550A74 "Loading Compartment Cover"

Holy crap! $362.95 for that little piece of fabric?!?!?!?

Might this part be a plastic cover in the frunk? (the url says "transmission/powertrain-engine-parts")?

OK nope... I looked it up again, this time putting in my VIN number (instead of generic Mach-E) to see if I got better results... And that worked. I got an image:

Ford Mustang Mach-E Aftermarket cargo cover??? 1628746638441

42812 from that diagram is this $300+ part.

Just have some window tint installed :)

I'm assuming Bay Area is SoCal, so you can limo tint the back windows legally if you want too. Even better, get some good ceramic tint and do all the windows (technically front windows in CA can only be 70%, but "most" police are okay with 35% although still not legal). It makes a pretty large impact on the time it takes your AC system to cool the car down thus a little better (although very marginal) performance increase as your HVAC does not have to run as hard.

I just did 25% on all my windows Tuesday and it has made such a big difference and makes it pretty darn hard (although not impossible) to see in the back.

Good job. That is an insane price for that cheapie part, though! I think I'd just lay a beach towel over the stuff in the back compartment. :D

Dark tint also makes it hard to see out at night.

I took out my cargo cover, it is quite useless, falls often and doesn't really protect from sounds

Run that part number through Tasca and see if the price comes down enough to make it doable.

I mean, that is what all the cameras and your mirrors are for :) I drove box trucks for years (before backup cameras), you really don't need to see out your back windows. The issue is people that drive have no idea they have these reflective things on the side of their cars. Or if they do, they are aimed where you can see the back passenger. :)
