The people with build dates in November, do you have a VIN?

I do not. But the sales Manager at my dealership is on vacation. I just sent him an email to let me know on Monday when he gets back. I also did not get an email, as I changed to a FE the week before Mach Drop. My original order was within minutes of the conclusion of the reveal.

My understanding is you need a final signed and paid contract in 2020 with the dealer (who needs a VIN). you Can do that and not receive the car til later if you choose. But you’ll be paying for the car as of the date contract is signed.

I actually did this once. With our first Escape Hybrid. The vehicle showed up on January 2nd, but I did all the paperwork, signed, purchase order, etc. on 12/31.

They MUST be aware, but a LOT of early reservers were counting on the tax credit that Ford laid out in our cost to own. And YES, I know you can adjust witholding next year to make up for it, but it is different - especially if you adjusted this year counting on it.

Dealer called a few minutes ago and told me production will be week of 12/7/2020 or 12/14/2020!! Don't have to wait until April or summer and I am certainly glad about that!!!!

how is this possible? Your dealer must have made a reservation and sold it to you. Otherwise this makes no sense.

I had number 10004676 AWD premium std range and scheduled for Dec 21st. Minnesota here and reserved November 2019 and ordered June.

Same thing. Build scheduled for week of 14DEC. Hopefully it gets here fast as we are just over the border!

Based on the small sampling, looks like the build for a given region for the week. Makes sense logistically. Guess I lucked out. Many with reservations way below me is getting it weeks after me. (sorry ? ... not sorry)

So, got my build date today. Order number 10005024 , converted earlier this month. Premium RWD SR, build date 11/30/2020. If all stars align and they truck it to Cali, I'll get it by EOY

Cal Rt 1, Infinite Blue, interior protection package. Reservation Number was 10015754. Confirmed order June 29

Minor problem: I went to North Hollywood Tour event yesterday and the Infinite Blue was lighter than I thought (latest pics in the Forum are pretty good), but I fell in love with the Rapid Red. Now I have asked Dealer if I can change paint color only! Are we all a little crazy?

I’m surprised by what I’m reading here. I just got an email and my reservation, an ER AWD premium, is scheduled for build week of 12/21. That’s with a 7131 reservation number, lower than others I see getting built before mine. So it seems like the reservation number doesn’t mean a whole lot.
