Allocation Spot and Scheduled for Production?

It seems that some of the originally-ordered FEs have still not been scheduled for build. It also appears the the Mach Drop FEs have not yet been scheduled.

Which begs the question, what exactly is "First" about those? Apparently nothing. First to get annoyed with.

Just substitute "Special" or "Limited" in place of "First". It is the first year of the Mach-e with some unique features to encourage interest. Apparently it worked!

So far it's looking like the FEs will be scheduled for the first month or two of production. We'll know for sure once they are all scheduled. So, while they won't be the very first, it looks like they will be among the earliest produced and delivered.

I also speculate they might be placing any numerical order on actual order date rather than reservation number. My reservation # was 15xxx, order #when first confirmed was 4304, which is under 5,000, my personal estimate for Nov/Dec build total was around 5,000. My build date is week of 12/14.

Agreed. Reservation date (or direct order date) is critical. Conversion date is secondary and only matters if you miss a scheduling cutoff.

It was a very unfortunate thing.. the chains seemed to have slipped... on all 6 cars. We're not sure where it happened, and apparently when they fell off they must have done so on a dark empty stretch were nobody saw nothin'. They must've rolled into a deep ditch by the road that nobody looks in, cause again we ain't heard nuthin' about nobody finding them. It's a very confusing mystery, ya know what I mean?
