Is that a build date or a build week? If it's the build week it likely won't be finished until until the end of the week.

The build dates are all Mondays and they signify the week they will be assembled (if all goes on schedule).

Well we are halfway through the week before the start of MP2 and I don't think anyone has mentioned this week that they are being scheduled yet. Will it be Friday before we hear any more news? ?

Interesting, did the far away dealer botch some other part of the order process or is that from prior past experience unrelated to the Mach E that you rate them at 3 stars?

I didn’t rate them at all; I know nothing about this dealership except they took my X-Plan. I saw the ratings on a web site.

My dealer of 18 years has been rated from many different sites as 5 stars for service which I can attest to. They received 2-3 stars for sales and I’d rate them at 1 star.

My build date is 12/14 and I'm not counting on seeing it in 2020, but I can always hope ?

Yep. Here it is on my phone. MyFord thinks it’s an Edge but FordPass is ready for me to customize my Mach E.

Both Ford.com and Ford Pass show mine as an Edge. Did you enter your VIN on the website or app?

@Illinibird certainly has a great dealer to have pulled this off if accurate. I don’t think anyone else who said they ordered the car months after the reveal has said they have a 2020 build date? That dealer deserves every (minimal, because it’s a BEV) future service dollar to come from that particular Mach E!

Yup if accurate and he will know in a couple of months - May be the dealer can arrange the same trick for a few more even if its an out of state buy

So I gave it a shot and called the number. Very nice and determined lady, but after over an hour of research on her part, all she could come up with was “your order is still in processing and we don’t have a VIN for you yet.”

Oh well.

I think if the info exists dealers also have access to it - the Ford customer support people dont likely have another system - most likely the details like dates, VIn#s are not there yet or are there and teh dealers are bad to look that up.

To me will be perfect timing. MME arriving after the 1st of the new year.
This year I can declare my solar panel installation and take the federal and state tax credits and the following year declare the federal tax credit for the MME. Good timing.

So I did it via the account web site. Shows up as a Ford Mustang Mach-E. Then I got a few push notifications from the app inviting me to go through the Remote Vehicle Setup.

RVS feels like the rest of the Ford web site -- buggy, slow, incomplete, poor layout.

Yeah the app is super buggy. For me, my vehicle is just listed as "Ford".

I finally saw the RVS and it recognizes it as a MachE. Default pic is star white. Hoping that changes to my carbonized gray. Also, just basic setup controls. Would be great if it eventually mirrors the granular controls of the Sync4A system.

If you really want to debate, I think I seen somewhere that the dealers can make a limited number of changes after scheduling and before build date.

Thank you John. I was able to have them change it today. Told me it won't change my build time frame, and to give it a couple days. I already see my order page updated with the new color, and still same order date of 6/27 and same order #. ?
