Ambient Light Missing in Settings

Hi All,

So we received our Mach-E yesterday (finally!), and have had a lot of fun with it so far. One thing we seem to not have is the Ambient Lighting control in settings. App Drawer>Settings>Ambient Light. We don't have "Ambient Light" in the settings... Anyone have any ideas?

Ours is a FE Mach-E.

I think you do. Ambient lighting should bring up a screen with colored dots. Pick you color and slide the dot up/down to adjust brightness.

Thanks.. Our problem is we have no button in settings called "Ambient Lighting", so we can't adjust anything.

I know we have ambient lighting in the car because the inside doors and bottom dash (near feet) are lit red...

We just can't find anything in settings to adjust the lighting.

there's another setting for "automatic ambient lighting" that sets it based on the current driving mode. I don't remember if that maybe hides the user choice?

No. Voice control is the last on the list, nothing below that.

There is no button below voice control for ambient lighting. No place to go to make any changes because we haven't a button for ambient lighting.

Do I have to pay Ford $500 to enable it? ?

Well, Ford should update your sync system. But you probably don't want to wait to take it in. You could factory reset sync and see if that helps.

You have to scroll the list down. Just checking to make sure you didn't try that already?
It's there below Voice Control if you actively scroll down using your finger (swipe up).

Very odd. I wish we could easily see the software version we have. My FE has the ambient light settings.
