Ever since the second day of ownership I have been hearing an annoying rattle in the car, but only on certain rougher roads. It sounded like something in the dash was loose, or something was banging around inside the glove box (which was empty) or some loose bit of dash trim was rattling like in a 1972 Chrysler Cordoba. It was driving me nuts. I kept trying to locate it by putting my hand on various surfaces, opening the glove box, pressing on the dash and door speaker covers, etc. I saw a comment on here about the passenger seatbelt buckle rattling on someone's vehicle, but no it wasn't that. it was maddening.

I was about to give up when, while taking my wife to a doctor appointment, she opened the sunglasses holder in the overhead and pulled out a large plastic set of sunglasses that I didn't know were there. Rattle gone. Duh, I feel like a dummy.

So here's my 'duh' moment. I picked up my car from the dealer on Monday. Drove it to the airport and parked it for 3 days. Got back in town today and was all excited to drive it home. So excited that I pulled into my driveway, opened the garage, and started taking pics of my new steed. Pulled into the garage. Started playing with settings. Wondered what that siren noise I was hearing was. It was my home security system that I forgot to disarm in all of my excitement.?‍♂
The Glendale PD officer was nice. ;)
