Has anyone done any real testing for 0-60? I have an AWD ER premium and I am only getting around 6 seconds. The accelleration feels great but I have hand timed it a few times and also used an iPhone app and both have been 6 seconds. I tried turning traction control off and 90% charge. Seems I should be getting closer to 5 seconds.

so who has done some testing? What is the best setup and what time did you get?

Kind of a dumb question but are you doing it in unbridled driving mode?
Yes although I don’t think it matters. I believe you get full power at full pedal in any mode. Unbridled only gives you more at the beginning of the pedal.

Real world testing is done with a roll out, which heavily favors the torquey electric motors. They also use special tires, which they preheat, and warm, clean pavement. And a driver the size of a Kentucky Derby Jockey. You will never recreate the numbers they report at home.
That said I’ve managed 5.4.

I knew the 4.8 was out of reach unless you use the roll, but I thought something just over 5 seconds would be doable. I was surprised I am over 6 seconds.

If it's 6 seconds to 60 mph, that puts it in ID4 AWD range. Volkswagen is claiming 5.8s to 60mph for AWD.

That is if the ID.4 is as fast as VW claims. IIRC their diesel emitted exhaust cleaner than the air they took in, too.

I've driven the ID.4. Seat-of-the-pants feel while driving tells me it's nowhere NEAR as fast as the Mach-E 4x. This was the RWD ID4 obviously.

Agreed.

Not sure what conditions OP was testing in. It seems every major journalistic testing venture got times close to the quoted 4.8. CarAndDriver got 5.1, Edmunds got 4.8.
I believe somebody on here went to the drag strip already... Can't remember where I saw that.

I tested it but the GPS device I use doesn’t support a 2 ft buffer only 1 ft, so I only can get a time for 1 ft. I also was on a slight incline, but very close to 5 seconds. I also didn’t disable traction control.

5.65 with 1 foot lead.

FastR can only clock at 1 Hz, so it’s not fast enough to be accurate. I tested with a Dragy GPS device and that’s at 10 Hz and the latest out now is 20 Hz for another mfg.

So just a one foot roll accounts for half a second... I did not think it made that big of difference. I would have guessed .2-.3 seconds.

I had a friend drive my Mache after he test drove a VW ID.4 and he commented the Mache has quite a bit more acceleration.
