Let me preface by stating I do have the P&C update.

I've used Superchargers twice. The first time (once I seated the A2Z adapter correctly) it worked like a champ and started charging right away.

Second time (last night) it wouldn't work after multiple tries. I would get a blue light and a message to the effect of charging paused in the car. Using the Tesla App I initiated the charge no problem first try.

Possibly related to the issue: the first time I charged I was never billed. No email, nothing in Fordpass even though it recorded the charging event. Billing info was up to date. Didn’t think much of it as this sort of thing sometimes happens at EA stations.

No, I have done 5 sessions now with no problems getting P&C to work. I

have to say Friday was the first time I actually needed to charge to get to my destination and I was a little nervous plugging in at the SC site.

Left home with 70% and had to stop on Kelso WA when I got down to 16% took if yo 50% to get to the place south of Portland without having to go out and recharge immediately or drive

2 months with over 20+ charges on Tesla SC without a single issue, except for 1 tower that had a deformed NACS plug and would not lock onto my A2Z adapter.

As a Tesla member ($12.99 monthly), I use the Tesla app only and even though it may take a few seconds more than just P&C, works perfectly each time.

Nope. I’ve found Tesla SuperCharger P&C to be the most Apple-like experience with my car. The only time a supercharger refused to work turned out to be because I went to the wrong supercharger and was at an old one that wasn’t supported (per the in-vehicle Public Charging app). Had I checked, I wouldn’t have gone there.

Ask me about my EA, EVgo, or sHell Recharge experiences sometime ???
