Anyone else coming from a prior Ford Co-Pilot 360 with Adaptive Cruise Control + Lane Centering vehicle and feeling disappointed with how the Mach E handles the exact same thing?
I've read the accounts of Blue Cruise ping-ponging and hugging the right line and was hoping it was the hands-free version people complained about...
In the last 1.5 weeks I've driven the exact same roads that I had in a Maverick with Co-Pilot 360 ACC + Lane Centering and have been disappointed to experience that the Mach E doesn't handle the same exact roads as well as the Maverick did... The Mach E engages ACC + Lane Centering less frequently ("Blue Cruise" with hands required in the Mach E) and absolutely is less smooth at lane centering. Places where I'd lightly keep a hand on the wheel previously I now need to carefully monitor and adjust steering (Or I feel like I need to because it's bouncing around).
I thought I read somewhere (before picking up my Mach E) that there was a setting to a more aggressive lane centering that can help but perhaps I misread or misremember... is this a thing?
Hoping future updates smooth this out. I still don't regret the purchase -- just voicing some disappointment with poorer performance after what I considered an upgrade.
(Edit: thanks for the move! Didn't see the "Driving Aids" in the category name so general seemed the best match)
