Anyone else tired of flooring it when the traffic signal changes to green?

I don't accelerate very hard, and I don't go over the speed limit (mostly). But there are always idiots who want to race who would go over the speed limit by a lot to catch up with you. The other day I saw a pissed off Tesla driver, who went probably 90 on 45mph street passed me and then jumped in my lane in front of me. Beware of Tesla cult, they have visceral hate for every competitor.

Sir I am sorry but your maths are costing you a few miles.

90% / 100% = 268 miles / full battery miles

So full battery miles is 268 / 0.9 = 298 miles. :)

What model is the "slowest mache" ?
The slowest ME has rear drive only, and the standard non-extended battery.

It is further slowed down by being way overloaded with cargo and passengers, going up a very steep hill, in frigid cold and not warmed up, on solid ice, into a fierce headwind, surrounded on both sides and the rear by patrol officers, while pushing against an immovable wall, with a completely dead battery and a dead driver, and without any key or PAAK. Under all of these conditions, the ME is not particularly quick at all.

CaRt1 here, although slowest, I beat a 'tween cars motorcycle rider to the merge. He had to shift into gear, let out the clutch, twist the throttle, so I was across the intersection long before he was. He caught me just at the merge, but had to ride my bumper for the next 2 miles. I think he might have been surprised at this SUV looking "Not a Mustang" thing that left him behind.

It is fun at the lights with a delivery driver or boy racer alongside. I just know I will get "don't you dare" from the wife

I'm just waiting for the warning message on your display: "Warning - you are driving a CA Rt. 1 and are not in CA. Results are not guaranteed. Refer to Owner's Manual." (*)

(*) yes, Canucks, we know, CA could also be CA. We're not talking to you. ???
Does that mean it doesn't fully stop for stop signs? BC1.0 Calistop assist.

Clearly, this is proof that ICE cars are better. I can see the headline now "EV driver admits that EVs can suck!"

On topic, I love the second it takes to get to street speed. Our "back roads" here are populated by German SUVs that get really upset if you're not going 2x the limit on an open stretch. (They also slow down to 0.25x the speed limit any time there's a curve of any sort. Those things must handle like garbage...), so it's fun to let them stew at a reasonable speed, then blast off a stop, just up to travel speed. Watching a G-Wagon or Cayenne GTS try to twist itself over and burn through half a tank of gas rushing to catch up only to have to brake hard to match speed makes for good TV in the rearview mirror.
