That's a default sticker that particular dealership puts on all cars they sell. It obviously doesn't apply to EVs.

Anyone get one of these stickers on their car from the dealer? Why do I need to bring the car in for service at 5,000 miles?

Is that what used to be Tower Ford? I bought some cars from them back in the day. If you can't easily pull it off, you should ask them to remove it, since it's just an advertisement for them. {Jonathan}

I’d leave it, just to giggle at when it catches my attention.

When I was negotiating with my salesperson, he reminded me a number of times that after my purchase, my first oil change would be free at the Dealer.

Each time, I politely reminded him that we were talking about an EV...

Seriously? Are they an EV-certified Ford dealer?

Actually, that was a running joke my sales guy and I had with each other. I told him I expected him to throw in "free lifetime oil changes and state emissions inspections or I was walking away!" :D

Of course they are. That doesn’t stop human nature, though. I am certain that reminding the potential buyer about the great freebies they will be getting is deeply ingrained into the sales folk.

My dealership didn’t throw in a free oil change… for the record, if they put it on paper that the first oil change is free, I’d check with a lawyer… there is transmission fluid that is scheduled to be replaced at 150,000 miles.

Don't forget dealerships really make most of their money with the service bays. So of course they want to remind you to come back for that "oil change" and all your service needs.

I still stop at my local gas station to get a Mountain Dew Zero Sugar and a bag of chips. They make most of their money on convenience items.

My dealer made me sign a paper certifying that my car was delivered with a "full tank of gas" before I could drive away, lol.
My son test drove a Mach E out in Detroit last week and the dealer made him sign a similar statement that he would bring it back with a full tank of gas. I told him he should have asked if he should put it in Frunk or the glove compartment.

I've received calls from my Chevy dealer every few months wherein the live salesperson offers an oil change special. This is for my 2017 Bolt. I tell them every time that I have an EV. A few months later and I get the next (same) call. Last time they said "Oh, then you want the rotate tires and wash the car special for $49.95". I feel so special.
