Don't forget dealerships really make most of their money with the service bays. So of course they want to remind you to come back for that "oil change" and all your service needs.
That's not exactly true. Fixed operations pays the bills, sales/finance is the profit center.

Anyone get one of these stickers on their car from the dealer? Why do I need to bring the car in for service at 5,000 miles?

You could take it in for a tire rotation. ;)

They were fine. My son works for FORD and unlike some other dealer Beiner honored the A plan. The sale was seamless, but if you need service and you need a loaner car you may have to wait a while. Not sure how it is with other dealers but I had to wait about 6 weeks. On the other hand when I did show up to drop the car off and my loaner had a flat the service dept manager gave me his to use so all in all they've been pretty good.

LOL I got the same at my dealer. Amazing old habit by the shop guys.

*add on that i ALSO get these for 3 month/3600 miles for Oil on my Expedition which has an auto-alert for oil life and averages like 5000-6000 miles and well more than 3-months during Covid LOL. old habits die hard, especially when they generate revenue.

When I was negotiating with my salesperson, he reminded me a number of times that after my purchase, my first oil change would be free at the Dealer.

Each time, I politely reminded him that we were talking about an EV...

As soon as I got my car, any and all dealer avertising, stickers, etc, came off the car. I am not driving around with their license plate frame unless they give me money for advertising for them. I hate stickers on cars too. Hated putting the California carpool stickers on but at least I get a huge benefit from those and I will take them off when they expire.

100% agree. I see cars and trucks on the road all the time with not only the licesne plate frames, but that also have a delaer name sticker and mudflaps with the dealers name. Total joke.

I used to live on LI NY and they were famous for permanently mounting dealer info on the back of the car. I was so glad to find out in the west they don't appear to do it much, except for Carmax.

If I was buying at a dealer that put stickes or permanently mounted dealer info, I would put it in the contrac that they cannot add it to the car. I have seen that on cars and it make the cars look horrible. I do not like too much badging on cars as it is, and took off my mach-e badges as part of my PPF.
