Anyone in WI been able to use BlueCruise hands free yet?

So, I have a job 2 car, and it allegedly had BlueCruise "out of the box". However, BlueCruise hands free has never kicked in for me.

Granted, I do mostly city driving, as I'm driving around in the Greater (allegedly) Milwaukee Area. That being said, I've taken my Mach-E to both Chicago and Madison, and hands free never kicked in.

Anyone else in WI been able to have BC Hands-Free activate? Where were you when it happened?

Check and see if your BlueCruise map has expired. It's at the bottom of the Sync Version screen.

Yes. I have driven from Madison to Waukesha and back using handsfree. Highway 94 and 90 work well.

Make sure in your settings for Driver Assistants you have lane centering for hands free selected on.

Yup...this is the issue. There no expire date on my Hands-Free Driving Mode. It just states, "--".

I'm calling Ford right now. We shall see how this goes.

FYI, for anyone that is interested, I got this working after:
Calling the Ford Customer Service/Software update departments and talking through the issue. I will say, I work in IT, and I was actually somewhat impressed with the customer service that I received. After a couple of tries to upload the map via OTA, I was contacted by a manager, and was told that I had to take it to a dealer to resolve the issue.

Called the dealer, made an appt, took the car in. Got a little bit of a "Gee, willickers, this may not work..." response when I dropped it off (AFTER the appointment was created). My response, "I have a Ford Case Number...call them, and give it the ol' college try". After a day, they got it working.

It's amazing being able to eat Taco Bell while on the freeway with both hands. I WAS WATCHING THE ROAD!
