Yeah I'm almost 6 months late but I have installed a hood. I think it was a super super cool idea to come up with. I believe Ford should have actually did this inside the dash itself. It has an OBD Port power cord so I ran it up. The driver side right around the pillar and I actually pried up the plastic right underneath of the windshield just to slide the wire into it that little center speaker. You can pop the grill up and slide the wire into that and just have the wire sticking out. Just barely enough to sit the hood on top of and the hood is sit there on its own without anything holding down just by the wire being held down and as of yesterday, I ended up purchasing the trays for both driver display as well as infotainment display and I relocated the HUD by putting a hole in the driver's display in the center back of the tray and now it sits inside of the tray and displays it a little further up the windshield so I slightly look up versus you know I just glance up and I can see it on the windshield during the night. The particular HUD that I have. I don't think it likes too much light so it will shut off during the day
