I wish they had made it a coupe rather than a fastback.

Maybe the fast back is better for wind tunnel/ drag / efficiency? Just speculation. I’m not an aerospace engineer. Or any kind of engineer.

I’m sure it probably is. But if I was worried about the wind tunnel, I wouldn’t buy a fastback either.

A quote from the article.

"A practical advantage of a fastback design is that those cars are more aerodynamic. The drag coefficient will be lower, despite lacking a wind tunnel. The notchback, the design counterpart to the fastback, has 20% more drag than a fastback does."

I got something correct. May I please have a signed note for the wife.
In other news, I did finally open the article and see they want about $500K for a car with 200 miles range using the WLPT standard????

You can build a 64-69 'Stang from scratch. New body... everything, so I'm not surprised someone's offering this.

The original Mustang wasn't a great car. I hope they push it up a notch or two.

However if it was 60K would you go for it? I would..
Absolutely, IMHO $60k-$100k is a fair price for something like this.

Extremely low volume car from a limited kit-car company. I think their asking price makes sense from a pure manufacturing POV. Actual market however? There might be 499 people out there with deep enough pockets and zero patience in building their own. Hard to say.

But WAY overpriced. I mean, it can only charge at 50kW? Bump that.

So you could buy a shell and get a plaid battery and motors. Just shoehorn it in for epic performance.
Maybe Rich rebuilds should give it a run!
