Nice work, @AoA!
Agreed , @AoA did a great job with this review. I like that it’s not just another tesla fan boy review that we seem to get everywhere else. Instead it’s an EV knowledgeable reviewer that doesn’t seem to have a horse in the race. Just the facts.

3.15 miles/kWh is great at 790 miles with lots of freeway driving.

As Alex points out, it's awesome how the map draws not just a generic range circle, but one informed by elevation, etc.

Definitely could stand some improvement in the on-board route planner. Even Tesla, hence why ABRP exists. I'd probably rather Ford just plopped ABRP into SYNC as the nav instead of Garmin :p

Jealous of his weather! I haven't seen 100 kW yet, let alone full rate!

That'll match up really well against Model Y in a head to head highway test. Maybe not as efficient as the Model Y but overall range from 100%? It's comparable.

Nobody really cares about gas tank sizes if cars go the same distance. The only reason it matters with EVs is because Y charges much faster (smaller battery, pulls more power) than the MME but maybe Head Honcho Heiser will shave a few more minutes off the DC fast charging time soon?

@AoA needs to expand his dining options. If he goes all the way to Salt Lake City and doesn't eat at a Crown Burger, he can't be my friend.

IF all he ate was a greasy Burrito how many stops did he have to take to ease his uh...gastric distress at a rest stop? Maybe he found some bushes to take care of that while MME was fast charging.

Don't trust ABRP Alex. So the range on this trip was more than EPA. Hmm ? Ford must be cheating some how. ?

What will the E-Tron, I-Pace, and M.Y. do on the same route?

This video shows more of the "charging fault" issues where the car stops charging randomly. Ford needs to fix this ASAP.

I can't tell if it's FordPass or EA. Afaik, the European reviewers have not mentioned this at all in their charging sessions at Ionity or Circle K.
