1,500 sold in the month of April? [...] Clearly, I’m missing a very important piece here ?
first of all...
Ford Mustang Mach-E April 2021 Mach-E Sales Lead to Best Month Ever for Ford Electrified Vehicles Screen Shot 2021-05-04 at 9.35.59 AM

1951≠1500

secondly, 50,000 is the annual production capacity, not annual US sales. ...So 8500 x 4=35,000 US cars, which would leave about 15,000 for overseas sales.

There is a massive amount of mache in Europe now getting ready for sale.
In North America, they are gone as quickly as they get there.

In the next 3 months, sales will have a major increase once the euro numbers come in.

Ford Motor Co. said Tuesday that total U.S. April vehicle sales rose 64.8% from a year ago to 197,813 vehicles, boosted by a near fourfold rise in electric vehicle (EV) sales. April retail sales were 57.1% above 2020 results, but were also 23.7% above pre-pandemic April 2019 results. EV sales rose 262% to a monthly record of 11,172 vehicles, representing 5.6% of total vehicles sold, amid new product offerings. Total April truck sales grew 47.5% to 97,054 vehicles, SUV sales surged 119.8% to 90,383 vehicles and car sales dropped 20.9% to 10,376 vehicles. Transaction pricing in April rose to a record $43,600 per vehicle.

Outstanding! Still looking for mine, but ADM is killing me ?
Just wanted to comment. If you're getting charged ADM: Drop. The. Dealer.
Ford will allow you to transfer to a different dealership. Also there was some Exec that said to let them know if any dealership was charging ADM, because they're not supposed to.

MachE sales are pretty close to ICE Mustang numbers already.

Good excuse for a road trip. Just make sure you have half a pack of cigarettes, that it is dark out, and have sunglasses. Forget that full tank of gas stuff though, that is so 20th Century.

Good luck in your search.

Huh? You originally said " And 1,500 sold in the month of April?" (Direct quote)

It's no big deal, but if you're using 1,500 to see how many months it takes to hit 50k, then I would think you'd use the 1,951 number.

If you use 1,951 instead of 1,500, then it's only 21 months ?
Sorry, 1,951. My bad. You’re right. 21 months ?

You can update the original post with the full PDF including production data and gross stock.

6155 produced in April! Averaging higher than 50k per year, but the next two months are supposed to be bad overall with respect to the semiconductor shortage.

Much better! They’ve cranked out 20,000 in 4 months and seem to be going at over 6,000/month now, so they should be done with the 50,000 by August! Phew.
Now, they made 20,000 and sold 8,500? There must be an awful lot of them on ships crossing the Atlantic or at Speedway ?

Already did the euro correction.

What? People try to say that ADM doesn't cause anyone any issues. Be careful talking bad about dealers charging an ADM fee, you may be shamed for it.

Personally I am with you. I ended up flying to Denver to pick up my MME to avoid paying the 10k ADM that the local ford dealer wanted.

The title for this thread is wrong. The Mach-E didn't lead to the best month - electrified F-150s and Escapes did. The 300% difference between April sales and production makes this all confusing. It has lead to this article in Investors Business Daily, which makes the Mach-E look bad: https://www.investors.com/news/ford-stock-mustang-mach-e-sales-slow-after-taking-tesla-market-share/
The long delay between our MMEs leaving the factory floor and arriving at our dealers has caused this negative blip in sales, which will be more than balanced out in the May and June sales figures. A deposit doesn't count as a sale.
I spent three days this past weekend traveling the freeways of SoCal. I didn't spot one Mach-E. Teslas, however, had to be one out of every 50 vehicles. I'm really looking forward to driving a vehicle that will be very unique, but hopefully for not too long a period.

I wonder if there is a way to find out which part of the country those Mach-Es are going to. They are still quite rare as far I can tell (a very good thing from an owner's perspective). I only saw my second Mach-E this morning in Los Angeles metro. Mine is Rapid Red, the first one I saw was Grabber Blue, and this third one was Infinite Blue.

Like some already mentioned, those sales numbers don't say tell much.

The past 1.5 month 4993 (yes we know the exact number) MME's arrived in Antwerpen and 2 more vessels arrive this week with yet another est. 1500 MME's making close to 6.500 cars for Europe alone. Rough guess is that 90% are customer orders builds but only a handfull have been delivered so far. None of these are (yet) shown as sales (afaik). If so the YTD sales would show twice the numbers.
