Are the dealerships tacking on extra profit during the buying process?

I paid under MSRP by making sure my dealer would accept X-plan. Ford is working hard to make sure dealers don't stick ADM on direct orders.

What is "X-Plan" and is this something that has to be setup prior to placing the order?
