Are the jump leads in the front bumper for opening the frunk when 12V battery is dead disabled when battery is not dead?

Otherwise, anyone with a 12V battery could easily break into your frunk?

If there is an electric latch mechanism for the frunk, and Ford doesn't enable it in very early OTA update, maybe I will go get a sensor like the one for opening the rear sliding your foot under the bumper and install it in the front. Or, I could open the door and pull the manual release twice.
