I'm curious whether most of the people here who are interested in the Mach E are Mustang owners (past or present) or if you're totally new to Ford/Mustang??

It won't be my first Ford but the Mustang (S197 and S550) just wasn't possible for me since I needed more seats.

Totally new to Ford. Usually owned Honda’s. However it seems Japanese automakers don’t believe in mass EV adoption.

Had Fords all my life (with a minor departure to a Cobalt SS, Mazdaspeed 3, Camaro SS, and beater S10). I've yet to own a Mustang, but have driven a couple and like them more than Camaros now.

My first car was a '99 Cougar (that I swapped UK Ford Badges on to) and my first new car was a '12 Focus that I ordered from the factory because nobody stocked manuals without excessive doodads. So this or the Bronco will be my 3rd Ford.

My first car was a '98 Mustang, but I hadn't planned on getting back into a new Ford car any time soon until the Mach-E was announced.

Is it a bit of a mind bender that a family SUV can gap your old classic 5.0L GT off the line?

I think that's what people who have never experienced an electric vehicle before don't understand. Fossil cars literally can't keep up with electric.

Owned a couple of Mustangs long ago, a 68 and and 87. For the last 10 years, I have been driving Jeep products. I added a Leaf to drive to and from work. I love the little thing and drive it constantly. Can't wait to upgrade my electric option.

Never owned a Ford...The MachE is the only car ticked all the boxes, but also gave me an emotional reaction. Was cross shopping VW ID4, Volvo XC40, and Kia Niro EV all look meh to me. I also don't like the infotainment setup in the XC40 and it's been hard to think of giving VW any money due to their emissions scandals of past. The Kia isn't bad, but I need something with AWD.

3 Fords (one a Mustang), 2 Lincolns, 1 Mercury, 8 Cadillacs, 3 Mercedes, and ten one-offs.

My Mustang is a 2003 V6 automatic base convertible that my mother bought new when she was 72. At 193 hp it's hardly the rip snortin' demon muscle car so many of the Mustang folks think of when they think of the beloved brand. My Mach-E will be by far the most powerful and fastest car I've ever owned.

Funny thing is, it will be the fastest thing that most people have driven. Even car enthusiasts. I loved my 2001 Camaro SS that was cammed, but it isn't anything compared to the Mach E GT.

In a V-8, every time you launch you draw a ton of attention to yourself with loud engine sounds and tires squealing. Cops will pull you over for "exhibition of speed". If you're silent like a ninja, you can do that all day and everyone is none the wiser.
