I received a 1099-NEC in the mail today from Electric League of Arizona.

Just an FYI in case you were wondering if you'd get anything in writing to use for tax reconciliation.

I'm happy I didn't file yet. Today I received a corrected 1099-NEC (to $0) and a 1099-MISC for the $1000.

This is good because I'm not self employed. The NEC was making my tax return way more complicated than normal.

Good to know. I was so confused about that.

We have to amend our taxes because we we were not aware of this. Lol!
