I do not believe the Owner’s Manual covers in a very clear manner how to set up the Back Up Pass Key (10 digit owner selected password/numbers) to start the vehicle if no key. It covers how to use this code and implies that the code was set up during the PAAK setup.
I could unlock my vehicle with my phone but it would not start. Screen said no keyfob detected.
Please change the Owner’s manual and software to include instructions how to set up a new 10 digit backup access code just like one would change the door access code.
Please clarify how the backup access code is set up during the PAAK set up. We were not asked to create a Backup Access Code. Now what?
