Charged to 100% last night for a trip to the airport this morning. Temp was 55-65 on the 90+ mile trip. Can’t believe the gray bars that were holding the power back the entire trip. I had this in the winter while driving but wow, on a nice sunny morning and moderate temps I wouldn’t expect it to limit the power that much.

When I arrived, the bars were still there.
Got my car last September and never experienced that even in milder weather before winter.

Maybe the battery was too hot from the charge overnight? It should have finished charging around 1am and I started my trip at 5:15, so the fans should have been able to keep it at a moderate temp.
The trip log showed 0% use for external temp.

that's worrisome given the amount of charge, current outside temp, and that you were going under 72mph. Something else was going on.

That's not right at all, I've never seen anything like that.

Me either. I've done several long trips and only saw that many bars when I was really low in charge in the middle of winter on a trip while driving 75+mph across the turnpike.

I hope the car is ok when I get back from my trip.

I couldn't plug in at the free chargers at the airport like I would have wanted because there were non-EV cars in the charging spaces as usual. I wish the airport would actually enforce the parking rules and ticket the rude ICE drivers that decide to park in EV charging spots.

At least someone wrote some nice comments on the dirty rear windows for those inconsiderate people to see when they get back.

My GT has done this before as well. It's definitely power limited, but never have found a reason for it. I had OBD plugged in when it happened and none of the temps were of concern either.

It's only happened once.

How do you get that display?
