Base Pricing Confusion

Hi Mach people,

The pricing on the Ontario Ford website lists the base price for a Mach-E Premium AWD as $51,800 yet my dealer's base is $63,745. He says they are not doing any mark ups on the Mach-E. That's a dramatic difference. Plus, if I add all the packages, the total price is $83,566. Now that the euphoria has cleared a bit, isn't that a lot? Any advice with regards to the pricing and what extras are a good idea would be appreciated. I made a down payment at the end of October and it looks like it may be six months before I see my car.

Did you double check at shop.ford.ca

Prem Start at 59,495 CAD but Prem seem to be 61,590. etc etc.

It sounds like you're looking at a dealer site and not the Canadian Ford Motor Company site.

If your dealers are like the dealers in my area, what they consider to be markup isn't necessarily what we consider markup. For example, one dealer in my area had a listed price close to $10,000 above MSRP. Of what, they considered about half of that to be a "dealer-adjusted price," the other half was charges for things like VIN etching and some coating of the exterior and interior that the customer of course had no say in. But you'd need to look at the window sticker breakdown to see that, cannot trust what the salesperson claimed...

Thank you for your info. I did originally look at Ford.ca and pricing for the 2022 model isn't available so I have been comparing the price to the 2021 model. I will continue my search.
Is it worth getting, Prem-8yr-120km, Hazard Care-7yr package and the Module Car Package? There is overlapping of the "care" packages. Do owners get all three? Or was I still high from driving the Mach-E?
