Did y’all see this in the news today? A Korean company, SK Innovation has been penalized for stealing secrets from EV battery making rival LG Energy Solution. This threatens the Biden administrations’ green policies for non-polluting EVs in the long run. In the short term, if batteries are going to be in short supply will that effect the availability of the Mach E and the F-150. Does anybody know from whom Ford sources their batteries? Sounds like SK sourced batteries for F150 because the commission granted a 4yr stay of the ban to continue supplying those temporarily. No such mention of the MME, which suggests that SK may not be the supplier because why exempt one vehicle but not the other?

LG is the Mach E supplier.

1.) Mach-E has LG batteries
2.) Mach-E is made in Mexico with batteries made in Poland, so wouldn't be touched by this ruling anyway

Yep, won't affect the Mach-E, but may make life difficult for Ford.
I'm surprised Ford didn't just stick with LG for the F-150?
