I’m looking at buying a demo Premium Mach E AWD LR.
The dealer has had it for 4 months and 3300 miles.
They’ve been charging to 100% the entire time.

Anyone with any knowledge of battery technology know how bad this could be on the battery, or is it an issue at all?

Thanks for any information.

4 mths 100% with Level 2 charging I think should be fine. However, if you buy it can you still get the federal tax credit?

So that’s at least or about 3300/250 charges, or 13 full charges. Maybe more partials. Frankly, It would not bother me. that’s just a blip in an EVs life. Just start charging to 90% and 100% for long immediate trips. I am sure it was level 2 and not DCFC. If it was, dcfc, I may have a slightly worse opinion but would still get it, if the price was right. You still get the 8/100 warranty? And it starts at 3300 miles? My Ioniq has has had 145 or more charges to 100% and I have seen no issues, Hyundai recommends 100%.

I wouldn't think twice about it. Vehicle was likely used every day. No problem with charging to 100% on L2. The car can do that every day, every month and every year. No sweat.
