I have posted updates prior with SOH on the battery and was advised to get better accuracy to have charge at 100% and 70s outside temp. Here are updated numbers:

88,080 miles in 31 months
Ext AWD Premium
43,983 miles on second HVJB
74 degrees outside
100% charge showing on dash but that conflicts with what data shows of 96.1%
State Of Health 89.5%

Of course I know this info is not 100% accurate, it still gives a good idea of where we are with this many miles and the state of health. The past readings have been between 88-90%.

Seems pretty good.

On a related note- our warranty covers 70% SOH at 8 yrs/100k.

If our battery SOH ever goes below 70%, how would a normal person know? Would it trigger a service engine light?

Also related- is that warranty on SOH pretty much worthless? I haven’t heard of a single warranty claim because of it. Kinda like my mileage warranty on my tires. šŸ˜‚

96% is as high as you can charge it because of the top buffer. No problem there.

Your battery health is 89.5%, which seems normal for that mileage.
I assumed it was good all things considered. We are still happy with the car, however I have noticed a lot more (floating) feeling with bumps and curves on highways. Could just be I drive the Edge with sport suspension everyday that keeps everything tight and only drive the Mach on weekends sometimes. Might be due for Struts possibly not sure.

Interesting. Have you noticed a decrease in total range since the car was new?
I do not drive it enough to notice a difference, however at 100% charge it now shows 267 when normally was around 270-275. Ours was rated for 270 originally before they allowed more access to the battery. AWD EXT is rated for 290 now so yes small amount of difference but nothing noticeable since we charge at home everyday.

Well I think it's good they do have the coverage, but based on the data we have ours will most likely not fall under 70% at 100k so guess we will really be out of all coverages very soon!

Sorry I guess I should have clarified that, my partner drives about 140-150 miles a day. I drive the Edge daily and the Mach-E on the weekend and charge at my work for free lol

Thanks for the post! Basically at ā€œ100%ā€ SOC your useable battery capacity is 82.4 kwh. divide that by SOH 89.5% equals 92kwh useable at full health which is very close to 91kwh. I’ve seen my battery charge up to 92kwh during warmer weather so that makes sense.

This suggests that the battery hasn’t really tapped into the unused portions of the battery. Which begs the question: would any of the unused portion of the battery ever get unlocked as SOH goes down??

Can the GOM be reset? Sorry for the interruption. December ā€˜22 Mach E GTPE with 11k miles. Charge to 100% 220 miles on GOM. One of the updates crushed the range and it’s never jumped back up. Thanks.

Same here. Before at 85% I would get 240. After last up dates 5.1.1 and 6.1. Now I get 211 at 85%. I just reset gom to see if it will work itself back up.
