I use the Ford Connected Charge Station. It has worked fine for the past 2+ years, except the wifi component went down. I contacted Ford. They sent me a replacement and paid for the installation.
It appears that I am in minority by using a Ford charger.
You’re not the only one. I own a Lightning Lariat and it came with it. It is the one for power back your home.

Looking for advice on what the best hardwired wall charger is in the market for a 2021 MME premium AWD ER. Ford providing the mobile charger for free, but would like other options. Electrician highly recommended Charge point WiFi hardwired. Open to suggestions. Have at least at week or two to order and install.
Here’s my take on the charger issue; I had a Wallbox Pulsar+ installed. Here’s my google review.

I have the Tesla Universal. (Bought it before Elon took his mask off.)

It covers all the bases and then some. It's excellent.
However, that being said, if you are cool with giving money to Tesla, then it's the best one.

Although it has gotten some mixed reviews in this forum and online, I installed a Grizzl-E CLASSIC about 2 years ago and have been very pleased. I live in the Northeast in a harsh climate and the charger is mounted outdoors. It has been buried in snow, encased in ice, the cable has been run over dozens of times and it continues to perform flawlessly. I chose to install it with a NEMA 14-50 plug, but it can be hardwired and you will get a small increase in output. The classic is no frills, no app, no led screen and I never wished it was WiFi connected because the ForPass app handles everything I need from scheduling and status updates perspective. For user feedback at the charger, it is just a blinking light and a charger that works...

Emporia if you want to do whole-house energy management in combination with some of their other equipment.

My EV charger can back down current when my clothes dryer is running, for example, to reduce my peak electrical load.

Edit: Just learned the Tesla Universal can do this also, if all you want to control is EV vs whole-house. Emporia can do more such as adjust the AC thermostat and turn off specific outlets, but that may be more than most people need.

That’s the Ford Charge Station Pro. Bonus V2H if your vehicle supports bi-directional charging. The MME does not, so that EVSE is overkill for the MME. it’s still really nice though. 😊🐩

I would tend to agree with those who said to get the Tesla Universal unit. My neighbors who have it love theirs. I am still using a dumb EVSE through all of my neighbors’ teasing because it just flat works. 🤔🐩

I’ll add that no one has gotten the V2H system to work reliably with the Lightning.

I agree with you.
I use the Power Pro to charge either of my vehicles. I also own a Charge Point Home Flex station. It is working for 4 years now, although it was derated from 48 amps to 40 amps.
Don’t have anything against the Tesla unit. I believe that it works just like the Supercharging network.
All it is is a choice. The forum member asked for our opinions and we gave him all he asked for and some more.
Let him decide on that.

I have a 2024 Mach-E EX4 and I installed a hardwired Tesla Universal. Love it.

5 years, two different MachEs and nothing but the Ford Mobile Chargers that came with the vehicle. We're ordered our 3rd MachE on 8 March and we excluded the Ford Charger so I'm excited to hear all the responses and input as well.

Thanks for all the amazing reviews and opinions. If I was willing to give Tesla my money, which I am not and never will be,it sounds like the best choice. I'm leaning towards Emporium hardwired and getting a plug for the Ford mobile charger for a backup for my Jeep. It'll all depend on the bids from Electrical companies locally.
Still a week or two away from purchasing, so I'm open to more information. And as we've seen, tons of people love it as well

I went with the Ford Charger for my 2021 premium AWD. It was tough in the beginning but I I'm pretty sure that was operator error...me! But it has been very reliable and easily absorbed the added demand of my 2nd Mach E..."23 GT PE.

I bought this one 10 years ago, has never had an issue, and worked across 4 EVs. It is weatherproof with a 25ft cord. It was the cheapest on the market 10 years ago, and appears to still be today, $250 for a unit built by an electrician as a side business. If you google the company name you can find other happy customers.
