BlueCruise going out OTA to regular plebs (non-EA owners)!

I feel so special, I got two updates (which don't do anything noticable).. but they do make others jealous of me.. I may not have been picked first for the proverbial dodgeball game that is blue cruise, but at least I'm not the last!!

*So no updates over the weekend for me, but today the notification of the last update had disappeared and just shows up to date.. I seem to remember this is the trend shortly before an update becomes available again..

I'm EA but usually a bit down the list. Marlin was just updated to 2.8.3. I think they are making sure the EAs make it all the way to 2.8.3 successfully before implementing 2.8.2 and 2.8.3 to everyone else. You should be close.

I have 2.7.2. Have a lot of driving to do tomorrow so hopefully next update will get queued up. Rumor is we are jumping to 2.8.1

yes got mine today too. Ironically I was on the phone with my Ford Dealer and I got a pop up on the phone that power up was installed successfully. Taking it on another long trip Friday and was hoping for Blue Cruise and the latest charge curve update.

So looks like I'm getting 2.7.2 tonight, but curious if anyone has experienced any better brake pedal feel? Hopefully the 1-pedal lunge at the end is resolved???

Just got my 2.6 notification today to update today. It failed, but I'll query it again to see if I can get it installed tonight.

Right. Earlier last week looks like. The point being that updates are flowing to non Early Access owners. Correct? Someone was saying that no updates are going out to anyone except those in EA andbI am pretty sure there have been people on here reporting otherwise.

Maybe I am confused.....
Wouldnt be the first time. Which is true? Are any non EA owners getting OTAs after 2.3.0? Yes or no?

I'm not an Earky Access member and I just got 2.7.1 today while sitting at a public charger. Last week I got 2.6.0 while also sitting at the charger.

For context I'm in Canada and I charge exclusively via public charging about once per week. I assume the updates tend to come through when I'm charging because my drives tend to be short trips of 15 min or so dropping kids off at school, and I assume the vehicle goes to sleep when I park and it's not plugged in since I have no way to do so in a condo.

Really looking forward to the next 2.7.2 update which should bring the new charge curve via the OTA update according to Wikipedia.

I'll report back if I get 2.7.2 next week, and confirm if charge curve and "breaking feel" has indeed been updated OTA.

I brought mine to the dealer for the update, they said they updated it and now lane centering assist doesn't work. I brought it back and they said the file on the ford server was missing and they needed to hear back from ford engineering. I called a week later for a status update and they said to call back in a month. I'm at 2.1.0 06/2021 build

I received an update icon with exclamation point today. Tapped it and it said update failed and that it would try to update again. Maybe the string of updates will start for me soon. [Job 1, May 2021 build, not EA and on 2.3 (though says 2.1)]

Opened the Fordpass Widget a little bit ago to find that 2.6.0 was queued up. 20 minutes later the status says "artifact_retrieval_in_process"

Very exciting.. Not in EA. Was at 2.3.0 for the last couple of months.

Got the 2.6.0 update this weekend. Just before lunch, I was looking at the widget and saw a new update pending. At lunch, jumped in the car, drove around he block. A bit after I got back, boom, 2.7.1 has been installed. Might need to drive around the block every day and get this thing really up-to-date.

I remember back several months ago when people were getting 2.4.X updates (oh so long ago...) There was several cases where people who had the "software calibration" update skipped 2.4.2 since the module was already updated.

Any insight, educated guesses or uneducated guesses on if this applies to 2.7.2 now?

It's been several days since I got the 2.7.1 and I'm wondering if I'll skip to 2.7.3 or still need a 2.7.2...
