So hands-free worked for me on the way to my destination and on the way back today. Based on a suggestion earlier in this thread to use a guest profile, which I tried and didn't work, I took it one step further and completely reset my SYNC. I cleared everything, profiles, PAAK, etc. I guess some combinations of settings result in hands-free not working? I didn't even set up a profile just used everything with the stock options. Maybe it's creating a profile that causes this? I don't know, but I wanted to share that it appears to be working again for me.

I don't understand blue cruise either. Just bought my car yesterday and took my first road trip down I-85 with all settings set for it to work but all I get is the hands on lane assist which you can remove your hands for awhile... its very confusing cause it almost looks like blue cruise can work since it was guiding me between lanes. Although it seems the car fights me on lane assisting. Anyway been looking forward to trying blue cruise out so very disappointed it doesn't seem to work. New car should work right with all updates...

I have an early 2023 (i.e., 3 years of BlueCruise) and it didn't show up yesterday at all on a day trip I've taken many times before, with BlueCruise available. Didn't show up for the trip down or the trip back.

I had the same issue happen last night coming from NYC to buffalo. It was evening, going into the sun and I have a prodigious amount of dead bug matter on my front grill. I wonder if the combination is causing problems.
I did the same road 3 days earlier, no problem.

Your car is reporting DTC U2018 in the CMR for bad software. This was most likely caused by OTA 6.13.0 and you have not been sent the PU-CMR-FX update to fix the issue. The dealer needs to update your CMR, and you are showing a CMR pending on the server for you. The dealer can fix it easily.
