I have recently received several updates, none of which say they effect Blue Cruise. Just before that some one ran a red light and hit my front drivers side corner, Now when I use my turn signal in Blue Cruise, it turns Blue cruise off. Just wondering if this is a bug related to the updates or if it is because something was effected by the collision. I would have thought if a sensor was messed up it just wouldn't let me change lanes.

Changing lanes in BC 1.0 always temporarily cancels BC until you complete the maneuver. Once you are happily in the new lane it switched back on. After the lane change does BC re-engage?

This for me is expected behaviour.

I am not on 1.0, so I used to be able to signal and the car would switch lanes for me.

It sounds more like your BC is encountering a logic fault when it looks for input from that radar. Does BC turn off when you signal a change in either direction or just the direction of the damaged sensor?

It would be helpful if you add the year of your car to your profile so people will know better how to answer your questions. This applies to everyone, not just you. So many people just have "Mach-E" as the vehicle in their profile, which usually leads to several follow up questions about the year or trim to determine what they have before a useful answer can be provided.

If you have BC 1.2 or 1.3, and the lane change function stopped working right after your car was damaged, that was likely the culprit.

Shouldn't the OP get the car fixed by a body shop first before using any technology aids?

Either direction. It's a 2023 Mach e GT.

It still sounds more like your BC is encountering a logic fault when it looks for input from the radar systems. You're probably not going to be able to use the BC 1.3 lane change feature until the sensor is repaired/replaced.

^^^^^ THIS

And also, people please put your actual location (at a minimum your state/province). Knowing the environment where the vehicle is being used is often very important. (E.g., range loss issues in Ontario California are going to be very different from Ontario Canada).
