When cruise control came along I learned to use it, it meant my right foot didn't have to do that wiggling on the floor thing. I also quickly saw that sciatic nerve pain did not occur when I had cruise control doing its thing - not all of the time but most of the time.
So last December I made the switch over to an MME with three months of BlueCruise. The hard part was relaxing when it took over steering and I let the car do the steering. I persevered, and after about 6 months I am entirely comfortable with it. I particularly like how it segues between what it does and what it tells me to do, or what I want it to do - I can easily override the automation. Arms and shoulders of this ancient guy like not having to 'assume the position' The arm rests get a lot of use, will placed and comfortable.
ps - BC lane changing seemed like a bother when I first began using it, took more time and energy than just doing it myself. So I just kept at it and now use it whenever available.
