Unless you bought a used MME because Ford disables plug and change on used cars.
I am either confused or might be a glitch but I bought a used MME from a Ford dealership and plug and charge has worked for me at EA stations.

Today, Tesla's charging costs are in many areas higher than others, but not all. In some areas they have off-peak rates also. Just read a post this weekend where Tesla, in Oregon, was notably cheaper than EA by a wide margin.
That's true, but is it confirmed that Ford owners are going to be offered the same price as Tesla owners? That's really the crux of my question -will we be charged the same as everyone or is Tesla going to have prices specific for Ford?

Francis energy does not support P&C with Ford. Some of their chargers support the standard, but others don't, so I'm guessing since it won't work on all they won't turn it on. But activating with Charge Assist does work and billed my blue oval account as expected. Very happy to have this since they are everywhere in Oklahoma.

No pricing is confirmed for the Spring deal beyond "market pricing".

This is good news. PlugShare shows most Red E Chargers in Michigan with some useful ones on I-29 and I-90 in South Dakota.

I wonder if Electric Circuit is a recent addition as well. I do not remember them being in the Ford Network the last time I was in Quebec in 2022. I went with a FLO account because it had roaming with the eCharge Network (still not in BlueOval) in New Brunswick and Electric Circuit. I may have used my FLO card for Electric Circuit not realizing it was in-network.

Electrify Canada has Plug & Charge, but it does not work with my MME. I had to turn it off while I was in Canada. I wish Electrify Canada had a roaming agreement with Electrify America.

I would be more excited about the addition of new DCFC locations if we had a level of certainty about the reliability. Reliability not just in actually working but providing the full amperage (charge speeds) advertised. That Aging Wheels CCS/NACS road trip comparison was very telling.

Plug and charge also worked for me in my used 21 Premium at an EA location.

Now, would it be possible to pay for a single BOCN membership to enable some sort of discount on the individual providers? I guess this BOCN integration is great if you're going to be using a network that you don't often use (Blink, anyone? 🤣) and you don't want to download the app, but it'd be nice to have BOCN give me an option to have discounts applied to EVgo and EA, for example.

There was an option back in 2021, it was just with EA, and it was $50 when EA was $4 per month. Didn't work right, was pulled. Rumors are it might be reintroduced some day, but it was only EA as I stated.

So, how's that dealer DCFC deployment going??
I ask a Ford dealer (not mine but the one my girlfriend bought her Maverick from) about Model E/Dealer DCFC. Their "EV Person" told me they already purchased several 120 kW DCFC. I forget the exact number 4-6 I believe. He said right now they are waiting on the getting the infrastructure/installation completed. He expected them to be operational first quarter next year. I got the general sense he was excited about getting them. My own dealership increased the number of chargers from one to three. All Chargepoint models. I did not see what speeds they offered. They are also almost always blocked by ICE vehicles and/or Mach-E's with dealer plates (often not plugged in).

But in a way, it is early yet. Once the dealers start attracting PlugShare user and start getting crappy reviews for stuff like that, I'm hoping their charging etiquette improves.

Yeah, I'm actually one of the lucky few where it still works for me (not complaining there!), but it sure would be great to have it reintroduced. Otherwise, this just feels like a Ford technology demonstrator to use OCPI and OCPP to start charging sessions and figure out billing, without any other value-adds. I suppose it's still early days :/

Was this announced or are you speculating based on the surge last month? Rough count < 500 right now, so getting 3000 more would be something. I certainly hope you are correct!
In the original announcement.

The only network that today reliably supports Plug and Charge, to my knowledge, is EA.
I believe that you can set it up with EVgo, not sure how reliable it is.

I signed up for that back in 21. It's worked perfectly and continuously to this day. Hopefully charge assist Will open more charger to this but from the screen in the car.
