BOCN Subscription Expiration

So now that it's Feb-2023, there should be some Mach-E owners that are passing 2 years of ownership where the 2 year trial subscription of BOCN (Blue Oval Charging Network) has expired. What does that look like in Connected Services when it expires? Did it auto-renew? What's the price? Anyone gotten any communication for Ford about it?

It's also unclear how the basic BOCN subscription will mesh with the BOCN Electrify America discount subscription. I'm on that plan (some of us were offered a 1-year free trial to beta test it last June, I assume because we're prime candidates with a lot of DCFC activity). My Connected Services only shows that discount subscription and not the original BOCN subscription, suggesting the two may be merged? Hard to tell since only that shows up for me now, while those without the discount subscription just show the original BODN subscription that's starting to expire for some.

Anyway, it's all rather confusing. Anyone have any updates?

That was actually another one of my questions... Is it even showing up for others to sign up for? Sounds like the answer is No from your post. That's sad. It's been working flawlessly for us since last June. Probably ~50 EA charges in that time (we road trip a lot).

I've only got 8 more months before it expires also, and every time I've went to an EA station to use it, it was free.

It doesn't seem like Ford really plans to ever offer the charging discount plan or it is just not a priority at all.

I would probably subscribe as all my road trips thus far have had the majority of stops at EA. I would be willing to pay the slight premium over the EA plan for plug and charge, It has always worked great.

Looks to be that way. I took delivery of the GT on 10/23/21 and they expire 10/24/23

Just like those above, my expiration date was blanked out several months ago. It definitely said 03/10/2023 after I activated the car in March 2021.
I kept thinking they would fix the glitch, but since I still have a large balance, it would be nice to run that down over the next several years because I don't road trip much.

My nav *does* have an expiration date at 03/10/24.

Interesting. That's sort of what I've been suspecting, that they'll probably merge the original BOCN subscription with the newer BOCN EA Discount subscription. Mine only shows the latter. The former went away when the latter appeared.

I've been guessing that basic BOCN services (Wallet, Plug & Charge, FP app activation) will probably just become a standard (non-subscription) service, and the subscription will just be for the EA discount. But still nothing official on that yet.

Seems to me that's the way it should be anyway. Shouldn't have to pay extra for such basic DCFC services as charge activation and payment processing.
