Hey everyone. Some assh__LE nailed my passenger door in the train station lot. My body shop said would be $1,300 to fix. I live in Westchester County NY. Does that sound right?

Body repairs on the MME can be expensive, get another quote from a reputable body shop.

Minimum 3 estimates. I would always be suspicious of the cheapest. Reputable is the way to go.

If you're making an insurance claim, find a highly rated shop. Cost is irrelevant, just deductible.

Insurance companies often have a list of preferred shops with lifetime warranties.

that amount does not seem unreasonable get a few more estimates and request that you want OEM parts If any are replaced it is your right although that looks like something they may just pull out.
