Hoping someone might have some suggestions to un-brick my 2023 Select here in Melbourne Australia. The car was plugged in & charging at my office when the charge lead got caught on another moving vehicle in the carpark, and was wrenched. The charging ceased immediately (with an alert on the App). The charge plug was cracked & damaged, but it was able to be unplugged from the MME easily enough. It appeared as tho I would simply have to replace the charge cable on the charger.....until I went to drive home, and it wouldn't release from Park. The dashboard warning 'Charging station not detected' is displayed.
Not sure what has happened..?.. Has the charge-port been damaged? Or is there a re-boot of sorts that can rectify this?
Has anyone had a similar experience...?...I am lost and stranded, and would appreciate any tips or hacks to try...
To make matters worse, my local Ford dealer can't look at it for 2 weeks...!!...2 weeks FFS.... (how can they even call it a 'Service' department?)
