The CA Clean Vehicle Rebate has funding. I've been waitlisted for a couple months. I should get my $2k rebate in 1-2 months. This rebate is on top of the $1.5k instant Clean Fuel Reward.

They received new funding a while ago, actually (I posted when it received new funding). I received my check last week after applying 5/8/21 and being on the waitlist.

This may be obvious, but do you have to take delivery and register the car first before applying? The reason I'm asking is I'm expecting to take delivery within the next week or so and wonder if one can apply "in advance".

Yes you have to have purchased the car. One of the Docs they require is the sales contract from the dealer.

Like I posted upthread, Clean Fuel Reward (The ex $1,500 POS rebate) will now be $750.

make sure your dealer is part of the program and you'll at least get $750.

I did, and it actually dictated the dealer I went with. That and X-plan pricing is what I had confirmed with my dealer.

Remember the 2K rebate is income-dependent. The 750 is not.

Same here. $1,500 off invoice. Later when I found out about this rebate and tried to apply it said I had to apply within a specified period of purchasing the care (30 days? or 90?) and I remember that I'd missed the deadline by 2 days.
