Yes and no.I thought the power adaptors were universal? You mean you can't take a US Mustang Mach E to Europe and plug the mobile charger into a European 220V outlet (with the appropriate adaptor)? Will the European Level 2 chargers work, or did the Europeans adopt different plug standards?
Regarding the mobile EVSE that's shipped with the vehicle:
Ford's mobile EVSE might support European power outlets. By all appearances, it looks like the same adapter that they provide on European builds. Just the outlet/plug connectors are different, and a variety of those are sold as Ford accessories in European markets.
Someone who's got one of the North American EVSEs will just need to inspect the label on its backside, and then assuming that indicates that it is compatible, they can plug in a European connector and verify that it functions.
Regarding everything else:
North America uses the SAE J1772 connector for level 1 and 2 AC charging. Europe uses the IEC 62196 Type 2 connector.
North American Mustang Mach-E ships with a single-phase AC on board charger. European MME ships with an on board charger capable of both single- and three-phase AC inputs.
There are some other differences, too... But this is the bulk of the issue -- the connector is not the same.
