Can’t connect to hotspot

I can’t seem to connect to my car hotspot. I chose the hotspot ssid on my kindle, signed into the webpage that appears, but I still don’t have internet access. Anyone know what’s wrong? It lists the kindle as a connected device on the screen.

You entered the hotspot PW on the Kindle in the WiFi connection screen? Does the Sync screen show that your car is connected? There will be an icon in the upper right corner of the Sync screen.

After selecting the Mach e ssid I enter the correct password. I am then transferred to a webpage that asks for the AT&T id and password. I enter that and see the screen above but no Internet access.

I have not been redirected to the AT&T site when connecting my kid's devices to my car. That seems strange. You activated your hotspot independently of signing your Kindle in, right?

I believe everything is setup correctly. My one picture shows the sync screen saying my device is connected, but the other picture shows the WiFi with the exclamation point meaning no internet access.

I believe its AT&T problems. Connection is somehow not activated yet.
Try connect a laptop, its browser shall be more capable than kindle's. Maybe there is some button on AT&T website that Kindle browser does not render correctly.

Even if you do get it working its honestly not worth it. All around Portland and surrounding areas I've only gotten 2G from it. Only one time it got 4G momentarily before realizing and switching back to 2G. Much more worth it to pay for hotspot on your phone if you need internet in the car.

Support is terrible. Its just back and forth AT&T blaming Ford's modem and Ford blaming AT&T service.
