Can't deal with the bouncy ride anymore after two weeks with the Mach-E. What do I do?

I have a Job 2 GT from 2023, non-PE. I really only want to make one worthwhile investment and hope to not make multiple mitigations. Just trying to get a slightly smoother ride over potholes and road imperfections.
That is my car, and my goal. Sounds like the best/consensus advice here is:
  1. Eibach lowering springs, and
  2. Eibach front and rear sway bars,
I am ready to look for a guy to do the work and give it a try. Thanks, everyone!

Wouldn't you know it. I had the item in my cart (Eibach Lower springs), delayed purchasing, but went back in to do so and take advantage of the 10% off....OUT OF STOCK!

Damn you "you snooze-you lose!"

Guess I just get my sway bars on and wait for them to be back in stock.....(beginning of May)

Yea, I just ordered the sway bars first. Thinking is that they are less labor and shouldn't require alignment, so I'm gonna start with that and see how it goes. But yea, the lowering spring out of stock. There are a ton of them on eBay though.

Keep an eye on DiscoutTire's Ebay we've gotten them from there with the discount previously as well.

I installed the Koni rear shocks last weekend. (Premium AWD.. the shocks (mentioned earlier in this posting) and the steeda bump stops. They are shorter shocks than the factory. Bummer, but they do work well.
Question- now, there is a "thunk" coming for some cracks in the road. I tried to find the previous posting and the response. but i could not. Is that a normal noise? would the koni bumps stops reduce the likeliness of that noise?

The thunks you refer to is the tires most likely. Ways to dial that down are higher or lower tire pressure or lower the setting on the Koni. ( I also ended up playing with the height of the trunk floor as the reverb from those cracks would echo making it appear louder ) It's a normal noise, I have those kinds of cracks everywhere here.

The travel on those shocks are only 1/2" shorter which makes no difference in the ride or handling of the car.

Lowering the setting on the Koni's will reduce it effect in lessening the bounce. They need to be at the firm setting to reduce the most bounce. Of course this does depend on the roads you drive on. Also, did you make sure there was no play in the lower mount of the shock? There cannot be any play and if there is, you need to add an additional thin washer as a spacer to take up the gap if there is one. That can make a clunking noise when going over bumps.

LS looked at the front end wobble when the brakes are manually used above 40mph. One Pedal drive is on.
they think that the rotors and pads are in good shape- lots of life left.

before i take the car to Ford. any thoughts?

My '21 Premium is very bouncy ... very stiff suspension. Is there any way to smooth it out?

I have the same bouncy ride. Front to back like a seesaw. I don’t like to drive the car anymore. I hope somebody has a fix. I think it is because of the heavy battery.

The closest thing to a fix is to swap out the rear shocks for the custom Koni shocks, which has been discussed in this thread.
