Cant get rid of alert badge in messages

I have had 1 message showing like this for a year in my FordPass. When I got the MME, I removed all my old vehicles from the app, deleted the app and re-downloaded it in hopes of clearing that alert badge. But now, it shows 2 constantly even after deleting all messages. I've learned to just ignore it.

I should also mention that my phantom message indication predated my MME. I think.

I have the same issue. Like some (most?) people these drive me crazy. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, the app has updated, etc. No matter what, they're still there. Very annoying.

Same for me. I've learned to just tolerate it lol. Hope it gets fixed in the future.

obviously the click tracking of the message either not implemented properly or broken. It supposes only show count of unread messages. Looks to me there is no QA for ford pass app,a simple test case should capture this..

I don't know what happened, but my phantom message alert went away today! first time in like 2 years its been empty!

This is still present for me and my wife... I don't mind it too much but my wife is bugged by it

The FordPass notifications are completely broken and have been regardless of app version. In 11 months of ownership I have never gotten a timely notification of anything. Thoroughly undependable function of the app. For example the charge point app will notify me as soon as the car stops charging. The Ford app will notify me of the same event some time tomorrow, if at all.

The good news for my next EV manufacturer is your app can't be much worse. Don't disappoint me Kia! ?

yeah the messages badge stays on after deleting messages. Needs a fix. again...

OP here. Turns out messages are now under the account icon. I was able to read and clear it there.

Mine worked perfect until the latest FP update. Now, even if I delete all messages, it leaves a “1” bubble. Mysteriously it will go away on its own until I open the app and acknowledge all of the alerts, then it goes back to 1.

Pretty much since day 1, my FordPass app has a red alert badge in the messages section. No matter how many times I open, read and click all links in each message that little sucker won’t go away. Any suggestions for solving this first world problem?

I found a possible fix for this. I found that if I read the message, then logged out of the app, closed it, then reopened it and logged back in the notification badge was then gone. Hope this helps someone out there!
