I turned mine off. Mine was a little better than yours, but not good enough. I also didn't like that it would unlock and re-lock in my garage as I moved around my house. It's easy to hit the lock button on the door pillar.
Hmmm door pillar lock...

The little lock logo? Is that supposed to lock the doors?? I've never had that work.

Hitting the bottom two numbers on the combo pad does lock the doors, but it's awkward and involves looking and carefully placing your fingers.

I'd love it if the lock logo (below the combo pad) locked the doors.

So there's a lock button on the door pillar (without entering the passcode?)

You can lock the door piller by holding the bottom two buttons at the same time and the door will lock.

Wow, this is great thank you! Still doesn't solve the problem of the car not locking when it's supposed to but this would be helpful and I'm glad were getting some things now for Android.

What was your build date? I think the 21P22 update is supposed to address that. The icon never worked for me until I disconnected the 12V battery to get the driver's door won't open first bug to go away. Mine is still a little buggy- sometimes the driver's door won't work and I need to hit the rear drivers side door, but one of those always worked. I have not had 21P22 installed yet, though.

No. The welcome lighting will come on when you’re still quite a ways away from the car. It isn’t supposed to unlock unless the fob (or PaaK) is within 3 feet of the door when you press the button to open it.
I remembered incorrectly. The reason I turned off walk away lock is that the car would always be locked in my garage. If anyone in my family tried to open their door before I got mine open, they couldn't. Even me walking around the car with my phone was not close enough for the unlock to work.

I am using PaaK and have found walk away locking pretty much works 100% of the time, and it often happens when I am still next to the car, which is super annoying. That said, if I am going back and forth around the car, sometimes it does seem to get confused about whether I am coming or going and I have had the car fail to lock after that situation. But with a normal close the door and leave situation, it always locks.

All my software modules are up to date so that might be what you need to do.

We are talking about the other, easier way.

It’s the little “lock icon” right above the button you push to open the door from the oustside.

Push it and your car locks.

I used the walk away lock future and always listen for the horn to make sure it locked but about 25% of the time it doesn't. I have to stop and pull out the key fob and then press the lock button and it works. The FOB battery is fine and I'm not doing anything different. It's frustrating because it's so inconsistent. Has anyone else had this happen?
Hi there! Can you send us a PM with your VIN and Ford dealership information? I’d be happy to look into this Mach-E locking concern on my end.

I have a build 2 car (Nov build date).

Last I heard 21P22 isn't available yet for build 2 cars, but maybe that's changed (I haven't been following closely the past month or so).

I’m pretty sure that update is still only for job 1 cars, but there may be other updates available from Ford for your car. The lock button on the pillar really should work, I’d ask your dealer. Or possibly try disconnecting the 12v to see if that fixes it.

I believe this is true, but for sure there are updates for all cars, including Job 2 cars. I had multiple modules that needed to be updated and my dealer took care of it.

I can’t get the little lock icon to do anything on my premiums. NOTHING. I’ve tried tapping. I’ve tried pressing. I’ve tried holding it down. I’ve tried pushing for a long time.

I’ll have to try it on the new car today.
